Halloween,Alaska is not actually a real place nor are any of the members from Alaska . They actually are from Minnesota . Halloween, Alaska formed in 2002 and have released a hand full of albums . The latest being Champagne Downtown, just released April 7th .

The Obits, I fuckin love these guys its raucous and loud hailing from Brooklyn , New York . This is one of the hottest sounds happening right now. It fast and furious with snarly vocals, dueling , choppy ,intricate guitars crashing into each other like outer space debris with the drums thrashing in the back unrelenting .

Alright guys I am a little ashamed... sometimes i put up my music blocker and don't give something a fair shot . I come back later and wonder wtf was I thinking . I want to do a full and proper post on these guys . Who are they? The Secret machines coming from the lone star state Texas . They make epic songs each album is a bit different. I am still wrestling with these guys but I think overall they are making some cool sounds.

I loved his last album Etiquette. Bobby Malone moves home had some personal meaning for me.
Earlier this year he released Advance Battery Life that was really a compilation, Now he just released a album of all new material Vs. Children. This is the album that shows Owen growing up and the lyrics reflect that . It's a great album and here is the single .
