Awesome Noise: The Coachwhips

The Coach Whips carve giant sonic songs out of heavy distorted guitar and vocals screamed through a mega phone . They are a clear punch to the senses . Upon further listens it begins to meld and become more clear . They build a sonic skeleton and let you fill the rest in. It's noise punk with hidden harmonies and subersive sexual lyrics and innuendos. They take the patented Ramones 1, 2 , 3 , 4 and bastardizes it to great comic effect on Double Death. It's a great listen for barreling down a busy interstate while poppin pills.

Unfortunately bands this good have a tendency to break up.They released only a handful of albums and played their last show in 2005 but left a lasting legacy of noise.
