Pearl Jam Bassist Jeff Ament Beaten and Robbed

Pearl Jam Bassist Jeff Ament was beaten and robbed April 27th details are just now starting to emerge. The robbery happened outside Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta. The robbers made off with three grand and a passport. Jeff got a nice bang on the head and treated on the scene for a laceration.

Are you familiar with Mother Love Bone? The were almost Pearl Jam without Eddie. Andrew Wood was the lead singer and died of a heroin overdose. Temple Of The Dog was formed out of tribute to him and features Eddie recording with what would later become pearl Jam on Hunger Strike. When I was a teenager I almost couldn't go a day without listening to it.
